Current Research
I study the challenges and possibilities of democracy. My research sits at the intersection of racial inequality, political psychology, and voting behavior. I study how members of historically marginalized groups, shaped by race, class, and gender, develop the psychological and social resources needed to participate, protest,and shape political engagement.
